Waste heat recovery for textiles dyeing and finishing

Fakir Apparels Ltd. (FAL), located in Fatullah, Narayanganj is a pioneer in dyed and finished knitwear fabric. FAL operates four natural gas-fired generators to supply energy to its facilities, and was releasing the hot exhaust gases directly to the environment. FAL invested in a simple but highly effective waste heat recovery system to extracts heat from the exhaust gas streams and produce steam for the garment steam ironing section, dyeing, and finishing units.
