At University I had an academic mentor to guide me on my career, module choices, and general wellbeing.
In my first job I had a in-company mentor for the same purpose.
Why not give fashions students a "team of mentors" i.e. 4-5 that are focused on sustainability in fashion to guide them in embedding circular design into their work?
A mentor team would lower the burden on one individual person and give the students a range of perspectives.
These people could be from academia and also industry from established sustainable fashion companies such as Eileen Fisher and Patagonia and fashion startups like Fruitleather Rotterdam (fruitleather.nl).
